Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.
– At least 15 years’ experience in human resources or related field

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for overseeing employees and daily operations of the human resources department and maintaining HR systems and processes
2. Manage the recruitment and preparation of the employment contract
3. Responsible for maintaining employee records
4. Responsible to the training and development needed for the organization
5. Responsible for payroll including monitoring of attendance & leave
6. Responsible to facilitate performance review and appraisal
7. Responsible to oversee and review the compensation and benefits for employees
8. Responsible to keep the company in compliance with health and safety rules and regulations
9. Responsible to shape and maintain company culture
10. Responsible for planning and execution of human resources strategies and recruitment plans in line with company policy
11. Responsible for reviewing the IPBR (IHI Philippines Business Rule) related to human resources and for updating it.

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

BASIC FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Functions as Group Supervisor or Lead Engineer on Projects.
• Coordinates and interfaces with Houston electrical leads and other departments.
• Responsible for all discipline technical, scheduling and budgeting matters. Provides technical guidance and training, as required, to lower classified personnel.
• Applies sound and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Continually upgrades technical knowledge and capabilities.
• Organizes work to comply with project requirements.
• Plans the work of engineers/designers on projects.
• Assigns all engineering/design work including checking of calculations; reviews engineering/design sketches
• Monitors the performance of the discipline against the established schedules and budgets and prepares the discipline Engineering and Design Status Reports, Workplans, Man-hour Estimates, Forecasts and project Staffing Plans as required.
• Maintains a copy of the relevant sections of the project estimate and generates project variances which may affect cost or schedule.
• Reviews and helps update drawing schedule.
• Follows up closely with drafting/design to resolve questions and ensure adequacy of content in the final drawing.
• Checks drawings for conformity with design requirements.
• Ensures that drawing recheck is performed
• Prepares material requisitions and technical input to subcontract packages when required.
• Ensures company and department Quality procedures are followed.
• Expedites receipt of, solicits comments, reviews and approves discipline vendor documents
• Reviews other disciplines and vendor print inter-squad drawings.
• Keeps Manager informed of any changes in staffing requirements.
• Through lessons learned on projects, provides input for continuous improvement.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 10-15 years of experience
• Progressive levels of responsibility in electrical engineering from engineer to lead engineer on major projects in petrochemical, chemical, refining or oil and gas industries.
• Lead engineer experience shall include a minimum 3-plus yrs direct supervision of engineers/designers. Experience with preparation of discipline Engineering and Design Status Reports, Workplans, Man-hour Estimates, Forecasts and project Staffing Plans as required, assigning all engineering/design work, monitoring performance of the discipline against the established schedules and budgets.
• Candidate is expected to have experience in electrical design such as preparation of grounding plans, cable tray sizing, routing, cable sizing, cable routing, preparation of cable schedule, lighting calculations, lighting plans, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, motor schematics, material take-offs (MTO).
• Candidate is expected to have experience in electrical engineering such as preparation and review of single line diagrams, control diagrams, area classification and distribution layouts, electrical building layouts, electrical load schedules, engineering calculations.
• Experience with SKM/ETAP software performing power system analysis such as load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, motor starting and drop voltage, and arch flash.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Smart Plant Electrical experience a plus.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software.
